JACKIE MIDGLEY BA (Hons) DipMem CSD
Jackie Midgley (formerly Gibbs) has studied and worked in a variety of fields within the art and design industry for over twenty years. After having a family she combined motherhood with studying for a degree in art and design at York St.John's University, specialising in painting. Since graduating with first class honours in 2000 Jackie has exhibited her work at various group and solo exhibitions throughout North Yorkshire, and has also worked on many private commissions.
Jackie also works as a specialist art tutor within both the private and public sector, where she designs and delivers arts educational programmes to suit individuals, groups or classroom settings. In 2006 she successfully launched PaintyParty, a business venture which runs art parties aimed predominantly at school-age children.
